He also completed a five-year Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine program at Oshio College of Acupuncture and Herbology in Victoria, British Columbia, further enhancing his academic and clinical training.

He is a licensed Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM.P) in British Columbia, Canada.
