Education Background
Dr. Jin Zhao received her Bachelor of Medicine degree and Master of Medicine degree in China, where she completed 11 years of comprehensive training in both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
She later obtained her Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Dr.TCM) designation in Canada, becoming a licensed Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM.P) and Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) in British Columbia.
Professional Experience
Dr. Zhao has over 30 years of clinical and teaching experience across China and Canada.
After graduating, she worked extensively in hospitals in China, advancing to the position of Chief Physician.
Since 2008, she has been teaching a wide range of TCM and biomedical courses at several TCM institutions in Canada, combining academic knowledge with rich clinical expertise.
At Oshio College of Acupuncture and Herbology, Dr. Zhao instructs both foundational and advanced courses, guiding students through rigorous training in diagnosis, acupuncture techniques, internal medicine, and the integration of TCM and Western medical perspectives.
