Education Background

Ms. Zengyan Sun holds a Master of Education degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and a Bachelor’s degree in English Education from a reputable university in China.

She is currently a fifth-year doctoral candidate specializing in Mental Health and Psychiatry, with focused research interests in Art Therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Neuroscience, and Music Therapy.

In addition, Ms. Sun has pursued advanced studies in Early Childhood Education (ECE) in Canada and is further expanding her expertise through the Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law program.

Professional Experience

Ms. Sun brings extensive experience in both education and administration.

Before moving to Canada, she served as an English teacher and later as an educational administrator in China, where she developed a strong foundation in curriculum development, student services, and academic management.

She holds the National Level 2 Psychological Counselor Certification (China), demonstrating her professional qualifications in psychological counseling and mental health support.

In Canada, Ms. Sun serves as Vice-President of Oshio College of Acupuncture and Herbology, overseeing student services, admissions, and academic coordination.

She is also an Associate Member of the Society of Translators and Interpreters of British Columbia (STIBC), reflecting her expertise in bilingual communication and translation.
